This skirt is made from a soft brown hemp; it's a medium-weight, and has a similar texture to linen. If you've never worn hemp, it's one of the most luxurious and fabulous, not to mention eco-friendly fabrics available. There is a side pocket with a sweet flower applique in paisley and green.
My fabrics are all pre-washed, I serge all seams, fuse applique and then tightly satin-stitch. Borders are top-stitched for extra durability. This can be machine washed and dryed using warm water & a gentle cycle.
